Today is World Collage Day and for the second time the Coupee Collage Collective in Belgium has organized the World Collage Atlas Project. 183 artists have agreed to participate by collaging and reinterpreting pages from an original atlas published in 1939. The new pages will then be exhibited on World Collage Day at the Verbeke Foundation in Kemzeke, Belgium. Following the exhibition the collected works will be re-published into book form creating a new atlas. I am excited to be part of this project. For more information you can read about the project at the Coupee Collage Collective website.
