Screen Lovers started with my discovery of the book "Screen Lovers" by Anne Billson, (Conran Octopus/St Martin's Press, 1988). The images within the book's pages are of romantic, sexually charged film stills throughout movie history. As I looked through them, I really wanted to see them come together, touch lips, make love, whatever comes next, so I followed my instinct and started folding them into one another.
